Abstract :This paper proposes a computer assisted simulation method for casting defect. Casting simulation is a powerful tool to visualize progressive solidification of molten metal inside a mold cavity, heat transformation, grain formation, shrinkage and stress evolution. Experimental results demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed system.

Abstract :This paper proposes an enhancement to secure transmission of digital images by integrating cryptography and steganography techniques. We have used the frequency domain approach for implementing steganography using the Haar DWT (Discrete Wavelet Transform) algorithm. The high frequency components of the cover image are used for embedding our secret message image. Additionally, Selective encryption algorithm is used to transform the secret message into an unintelligible form. These algorithms when combined prevent the secret message file from detection by unauthorized users on the internet, while it is being transmitted .Thus, this technique is capable of providing enhanced security by averting stealing and destruction of useful data over the internet.

Abstract : The problem of scheduling task graph which is represented by DAG (Directed Acyclic Graph) in Hetero- geneous Environment is not a new problem. However, up to now nearly all of the Heuristics use Forward Planning methods. This paper introduces novel BackWard Planning (BWP) procedure in this field. Quite different from Forward Planning methods, BWP always delays the tasks’ starttime as late as possible, in an attempt to delay the starttime of the entry nodes and shorten the makespan of the schedule in the end.

Combining BWP and traditional List Scheduling Algorithm, this paper proposes a two pass Forward/Backward (F/B) scheduling technique which can improve the performance of the original algorithm significantly. Using famous HEFT algorithm as example, we evaluate and compare the performance of two scheduling technique: our F/B technique and traditional insertion based scheduling technique used by HEFT and some other existing list scheduling algorithms. The experimental results indicate that F/B technique outperforms another in all the metrics considered in our examination.

Abstract : If we glimpse in the present era, it has proved that English language as gained its own place in the world as well as it becomes indispensable thing to know, to learn and to use it. Consequently, English is essentially, necessary and inevitable of people and they start to learn English but the problem occurs that, the students of Gujarat can better understand English language than they use for multiple purpose. In Gujarat, most of the people understand much more English than they speak or write. It has observed that various complex factors contribute to this situation. Among them, One factor that can be addressed by Gujarati ELT professionals is the design of the materials used for teaching English in the schools and universities. It is widely accepted that materials designers need to take into account two things: one is the theoretical principles of secondary language learning and acquisition and second is the realworld conditions found in classrooms. The present research paper focuses on the views of vernacular students about Bridges and its usefulness for the students of Gujarati medium school of Gujarat including its use of target language.
